We are seeking experienced people for the following positions:
(Jakarta Head Office)
• To manage contract functions, supervise and manage a group of Contract Specialists, coordinate contracts administration activities for tender and awarding process, respond to contract performance issues, contribute to Thiess corporate objectives
• Manage and responsible for supervising a group of Contract Specialist in performing daily activities/job tasks, achieving team goals and meet the objectives
• Reviewing tender and contract documents to ensure the necessary term and conditions are all incorporated.
• Analyzing all required analysis to ensure it is the most favorable option to the Company.
• Accept responsibility and be accountable for actions
• Avoid situations resulting in a conflict of interest, bribery or the use of inducements to secure business
• Manage and coordinate the flow of information concerning contractual appointments, termination and contractual related correspondence to suppliers and sites
• Communicate with clients/sites regarding sub & supply contract matters.
• Respond to contract inquiries from clients/sites and other departments.
• Periodically review operational procedures to assure maintenance of confidentiality of both document files and data systems
• Justify Tender cost savings
• Liaise with Project and Ops Managers on any contractual issues
• Negotiate with suppliers on contractual disputes
• Monitor Supplier & Subcontractor performances during contract period (6 monthly subcontractor/supplier evaluation reports)
• Monitor continues feedback and decisions from contract specialist in assisting user for contractual issues
What skills and experience do you need?
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economy, Civil, Mechanical and/or Industrial Engineering with 3-4 years’ experience in contract related In Procurement Contract area; must have skill in Supply Chain Contracts Management; knowledge of tendering process, business contract drafting, purchasing experience
• Knowledge of Tendering process, Business Contract Drafting, Purchasing Experiences, Negotiation and Communication Skills. Will attend a lot of face to face meetings with Vendors, end users and also within internal Supply Chain
• Strong skills in communication, leadership, problem solving and negotiation; self-motivated, have a good planning skill and high initiatives; fluent in English both oral as well written and computer literacy.

• Review & Analyse the reliability of equipment
• Optimize component life through the application of health services
• Provide equipment health intelligence to the maintenance planner to determine optimal repair / change out intervals in this sort to medium term
• Provide equipment health recommendation and follow up recommendation to be action by site plant operation
• Proactive to review the current plant maintenance strategy & Operational Equipment Issue
• Provide equipment data summary for maintenance & operational purposes
What skills and experience do you need?
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Ex apprentice program
• Min 3 years in heavy equipment maintenance
(Sangatta)
• To apply the Thiess Management System and plant procedures within the work force in relation to Safety/Environment, Maintenance Planning, Recording/Register, Quality of Workmanship, Leadership within the and organizing of Workshop personnel;
• To ensure that maintenance department goals are achieved.
• Communication and reporting. Ensure maximum communication levels are maintained between field crew and operations personnel on issues relating to breakdown of equipment.
• Monitor radio communication apparatus working in order and do repair when needed.
• Accurate completion of OCDC reporting, ensure clear description of repair, accurate time input, and all delays clearly reported.
• Actively share ideas making maintenance practice better to achieve department goals.
• Ensuring accurate breakdown hour information is provided.
• Analysis of component condition and recommendation of parts required.
• Review of all checklists and electrical inspection sheets, submission to planning department (everyday), address all known work (create work order), breakdown and planned jobs.
• Planning and co-ordination of shut down work with the planning department (weekly planning meeting), keep update on 36-hour planning.
• Investigation and reporting of all accident damage to all equipment in the field and associated area, this includes operator abuse.
• DOOD and service package completion quality are maintained.
What skills and experience do you need?
• Minimum Senior High School/Technical High School, Ex Apprentice Program; requires a minimum 5 years’ professional experience in similar role in supervision level;
• Excellent knowledge on the Big Digger electrical system (Hitachi and Liebherr preferred); General electrical installation and maintenance; Fault finding and maintenance of automotive air conditioning systems; Fault finding, maintenance of all mobile equipment auto electrical systems;
• Good leadership skill, good communication in English as well Bahasa able to communicate to all level (internal/external), diligent, good in planning and organizing job.
(Sangatta)
• To monitor and control tyre operation, attain equipment target availability and provide services to the satisfaction of all tyres and users; Responsible for tyre repair and tyre fitter crew safety;
• Responsible to conduct tyre preventive maintenance list: front tyre replacement schedule, rim replacement schedule, tyre condition check on the unit in DOOD;
• Ensure the operated unit is assembled with appropriate tyre, rock ejector, tyre valve caps, valve bracket and bolt/nut;
• Monitor and maintain important tyre tools and equipment such as: pneumatic wrench, pneumatic torque tools, pneumatic grinding and buffing tools that all must be provided with maintained and clean air/water separator, pressure regulator and line oiler;
• Cooperate with tyre administration in performing inventory of tyres, rims and tubes stock every month: Preparing consumable spare such as tyres, rims and its component, repair good and tools as we as tyre tools.
What skills and experience do you need?
• Minimum Senior High School or TCI Apprentice graduate;
• Substantial experience in a similar or related role. Requires a minimum 5 years’ professional experience as Supervisor Tyre in Heavy Equipment and Mining Contractor industry;
• Good leadership skill, good communication in English as well Bahasa able to communicate to all level (internal/external); good in planning and organizing job; Proactive; communicative; responsible & adaptable.
(SANGATTA)
• Ensure to achieve data download target as primary analysis data.
• Provide Production Report and Maintenance Report base on downloaded data.
• Do prognostic analysis (trending analysis) from download data and combined with SOS and other condition monitoring data to optimize component life by generating recommendations for investigation or pre-failure maintenance.
• Follow up the pre-failure recommendations and investigation/backlog aging to the Fleet Superintendent and Supervisor.
• Provide equipment health intelligence to the maintenance planner, Fleet Supt to determine optimal repair / change out intervals or shutdown in the short to medium terms.
• Provide post-failure supporting data and recommendation from download event history to reveal contributing factors or root cause of events. Support external warranty in providing data support and give brief explanation on each finding that we get.
• Provide equipment health intelligence to the mining department by the means of download data, accident investigation, application of FPO/ASA and annual performance data support.
• Work together with OEMs to gain best practice on pre-failure maintenance and machine application/operation and applied them on site.
What skills and experience do you need?
• Minimum Diploma Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 3 years’ experience in similar role as Analyst DMG;
• Has qualification and experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics; Team Leading & Auditing Skills; Reliability and Plant Systems Skills; information monitoring and data collection;
• Possess good analytical skill; Communicative; being able to speak and understand English is a must; Computer literate.
(SANGATTA)
• Develop plant contamination control quality on workshop facility & support, equipment to improve machine performance and eliminate component failure due contamination issue;
• Ensure all mechanical inspection are carried out in detail and filed correctly;
• Implementing initiative of contamination program;
• Ensure all necessary actions are taken to rectify any faults identified by the inspections, in accordance with the correct procedures;
• Supporting team requirement to meet the target successfully;
• Identify substandard & standard work practice on plant and work environment which impacting machine reliability and availability.
What skills and experience do you need?
• Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; Requires to have 7 years experiences as Specialist Contamination Control or similar role in mining industries in large open cut mining operation of which at least 3 years leadership experience in Supervisory of Workshop Mechanical repair/service role is preferable;
• Experience of Team Leading, Planning, and Reliability are prioritized; Have experience in handling skills & diagnostic skills in all aspects of mechanical repairs; Familiar with auditing and plant system in coal mining business;
• Good leadership skill, possess good analytical skill & knowledge; Communicative; being able to speak and understand English is a must; Computer literate.
